BABA Process and Design

The BABA Act requires all iron, steel, manufactured products and construction materials used in a project to be produced in the United States. In addition, the cost of product components that are manufactured and mined in the United States needs to be greater than 55% of the overall cost of all the product’s components.

SSI Aeration’s wastewater treatment systems and equipment meet BABA requirements, as they are all manufactured in America from start to finish. SSI Aeration proudly sources American products and conducts the following manufacturing processes in the country:

All perforations for rubber parts for diffuser membranes are done in-house, ensuring they have even depth for efficient air release. SSI Aeration’s wastewater treatment systems and equipment are pre-assembled in the factory for easy installation. All the welding is done in the factory using MIG, TIG or plasma-arc welding inert gas processes.
